Awareness Training

Course Objectives To be aware and able to demonstrate a knowledge of:- 1. The needs of sailors with disabilities both ashore and afloat. 2. The necessary communication skills. 3. The use of current terminology to explain disability. 4. The use of specialist equipment and adaptations. 5. Transfer techniques and risk assessment.
